This little table has both rustic and industrial character with its brushed-stain coat and brushed nickel pulls. Tin is bolted to the doors to accent the mechanical element, while white pine pallet-wood top contrasts with the dark wood below it. The doors open up to a rustic interior that has retained much of its original character: vertical boards that create places for folders or vinyls, a small shelf at the top, and a larger space for larger items. This piece would work as either a side table in a bedroom, or a small table to catch odds and ends by your door in your kitchen.

The dimensions are High 24 in., Wide 23 1/2 in., Depth 15 1/2 in.

A complex side table accented with metal and canvas for sale for $50. 

The top of the table speaks for itself in a pattern of cherry and tulip poplar pallet wood.

This has to be one of our favorite pieces yet! Like may of the pieces before it, it had humble beginnings: as a dumpster rescue. This side table has undergone a beautiful transformation, featuring a beautiful patterned top and canvas and tin detailing on the drawer. A space beneath the shallow, functional drawer houses a canvas-lined basket (included), but could be used to store whatever you need. Upon further investigation, we found this little side table was originally manufactured by Pennsylvania House.

Once beat up and out-of-date, this recrafted and updated dresser has a new lease on life. The brushed nickel handles contrast well with the dark coffee exterior. The pallet top features red and white oaks, pine and tulip poplar woods. The top is also coated in urethane to protect against spills and the drawer slides have been reinforced. The dresser features seven deep drawers perfect for storing clothes and belongings.

Sneak Peek: Distressed dresser with framed pallet wood top and matching mirror

There's plenty in the works in James' workshop, including this rather tired-looking dresser. The post title may seem misleading, but it is a promise for more to come. When he gets done with this set, you won't even be able to recognize it!

The before, fresh from the auction. Small, out-of-date pulls, scuff marks and scratches, and structural defects. No problem.

Well, a fresh coat of paint is a great place to start.

And finally, a glimpse at the transformation in process. Still more work to do though.

 Check back soon! We cannot wait to reveal this beautiful dresser. The top is a pattern of red and white oaks, with a splash of poplar and cherry; and it is sure to stun.
